It functions as the Stereo Vision Control Panel API Server, facilitating 3D stereoscopic support for compatible NVIDIA graphics cards. The process manages and enables 3D visual rendering in applications or games that use NVIDIA's 3D Vision features, such as delivering immersive 3D content when paired with supported monitors and glasses. While it is typically not required for standard 2D graphics usage, it remains important for users leveraging NVIDIA’s stereoscopic 3D functionality. Disabling or removing it may impact the 3D Vision features but not standard GPU performance.
