Yes, these systems have built-in protection so that kernel mode code from unknown publisher are prohibited from running in 64-bit versions of Windows-run machines. However, in the normal user mode, a malicious software can still possibly attack a person's computer. Computers with 64-bit versions of the Windows Vista and newer are more secure and SpyShelter works as an ADDITIONAL and IMPORTANT layer of security to protect you against more sophisticated attacks.
